Our custom wire harness expertise includes initial reverse engineering, prototyping, component and final product testing, cost control programs, and manufacturability studies. While most of our products are produced at our Minnesota facility, international outsourcing is available through REMEC-partnered relationships. In addition to the ability to provide virtually every type of electrical component, REMEC also has custom injection molding, splicing, ultrasonic welding, braiding, and wire marking (hot stamping) capabilities.

Cutting and Stripping

Production capabilities at REMEC include cutting, stripping, and hot stamping wires of nearly any type or size.

Heat Sealing

REMEC employs innovative methods such as heat sealing to insulate tight, difficult-to-access portions of our customers’ products.

Molding

With our complete injection molding capabilities, REMEC can supply a wide range of custom and automotive-style molded connectors.

Ultrasonic Splicing

REMEC employs ultrasonic welding technology to ensure effective and reliable copper wire splices. Of course, mechanical splicing is also available when specified.

Terminating

REMEC has a full range of mechanical terminating capabilities including Amp, Packard, Deutsch, Panduit, Molex, and many other product lines.

Braiding

REMEC equipment includes braiding machinery, providing the ability to encase wire harness sections with strong plastic filament for added protection and durability.
